The Yorkshire Archery Association Senior & Junior Clout Championships were held on April 19th 2009 at the ground of Bronte Archers, Rawdon Meadows, Apperley Bridge, Bradford.

I hope everyone who took part had an enjoyable day and a safe journey home and remembered the sun cream during the day as there seemed to be quite a few red faces at the prize giving. We couldn't have wished for better weather. Once the sun broke through the cloud mid morning, it turned into a perfect day for clout shooting, warm and still. In an ideal world the scoring zones could have been a little more yielding as there were a few arrows which passed through the clout.
I would like to thank Bronte Archers for their assistance with finding such a good venue at short notice and those kind archers who acted as field party during the day. Thanks also to Riggwelter Field Archers for providing the catering throughout the day.
