Bowmen of Adel have-a-go day 2008
The Bowmen of Adel held a have a go day on the 5th of May 2008.
After the recent poor weather Monday brought us a sunny warm day. The first session was due to start at 11.00 and repeat every hour until 4.00pm, but thanks to effective advertising the queue started 1 hour before we had set up!
Coaches John Mirfield, Nick Beeson and Jean Clarkson were on duty with the assistance of other BoA members who sported the new club colours.
At the end of the day we had introduced over 125 men women and children to archery - although looking at some of the "newbies" some had either shot before - or our coaches were very good!
