Chantry Bowmen’s 14th Firbeck Crecy Shoot, Sunday 19th July 2026. A highly unusual round for all bow types (excluding compounds due to the construction of the targets). Themed in the flavour of the first major English land victory of the Hundred Years War. Just like the original battle in 1346, you will shoot at a life-size French army, including Men at Arms, Genoese Crossbowmen and eight-foot-tall Knights on horseback. If you're thinking at that size, they'll be easy to hit, think again, they're 160 yards away, and there are no scopes or sighters allowed! To be held at The Phoenix Sports & Social Club, Pavillion Lane, Bawtry Road, Brinsworth, Rotherham S60 5PA.
