The YAA Committee has made the decision to include the 50+ age category for record purposes from the 2025 year.

During 2025 we invite archers to submit record claims in accordance with the normal practice. These claims will be held until the end of 2025 when the highest in each round will set the YAA record.

As an additional point YAA will only accept the claim if it is accordance with the Archery GB recognized rounds for 50+ record claims, as per the table held in the AGB Rules of Shooting at 308.

For clout records the 50+ age category records will only be accepted for the 50+ distances. This is yet to be finally announced by Archery GB but will be as follows:

Imperial Clout:
 Ladies 120 yards
 Gents 140 yards

Metric Clout:
 Ladies non compound 110 metres
 Ladies compound 125 metres
 Gents non compound 125 metres
 Gents compound 165 metres
