The Chantry Sword Longbow Tournament

Taking place: Saturday 4th July 2009

Two-way Stafford for longbows, to be held at Sheffield Hallam University Ground, Bawtry Road, Sheffield.

NCAS Double FITA Star

Taking place: Saturday 11th July 2009 and Sunday 12th July 2009

World Record Status Double FITA Star, junior Metric rounds, the Burntwood rounds and VI International rounds. Incorporates the 3rd leg of the Archery GB National Series. Hosted by Bronte Archers at Rawdon Meadows, Apperley Bridge, Bradford.

Abbeydale Archers 70th Anniversary Shoot

Taking place: Sunday 12th July 2009

Special shoot to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of Abbeydale Archers. 70 arrows at 70 yards for seniors, 70 arrows at 35 yards for juniors and novices (if preferred). To be held at De La Salle Grounds, Beauchief, Sheffield.

60th Scorton Gold Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 19th July 2009

The Company of Scorton Archers will hold their 60th Scorton Gold Tournament on the 19th of July 2009. An Albion round for seniors and Windsor rounds for juniors will be shot at Brompton-on-Swale Sports Field.

Pandamonium - Panda Bowmen's 19th Longbow Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 19th July 2009

Western round for longbows, at West Park Leeds RUFC ground in Bramhope, Leeds.

Savile Bowmen 5th Outdoor Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 26th July 2009

World Record Status 70m round followed by Olympic head-to-head, at Thornhill Cricket & Bowls Club, Thornhill, Dewsbury.

Doncaster & District Archery Association 50th Top Town Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 2nd August 2009

Albion round for seniors, Windsor rounds for juniors, for the honour of being the top archery town in Yorkshire. This will be the 50th meeting of this famous tournament, to be hosted by Danum Archers at Castle Park Rugby Ground, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster.
Note that the date has changed from the 9th of August to the 2nd of August because of ground availability.

Taking place: Saturday 8th August 2009

York and Double National rounds. Hosted by Aire Valley Archers at South Craven School, Cross Hills, Keighley.

Longbow tournament hosted by The Wakefield Archers at Pontefract Castle. Two rounds of 60 arrows at 60 yards.

The Ascham Silver Arrow

Taking place: Saturday 12th September 2009

The Ascham Society cordially invites ladies to compete for the Ascham Silver Arrow and other trophies at Barnsley Archery Club's ground, Shaw Lane, Barnsley. Open to Ladies shooting longbow, recurve or barebow.
