National Tour Stage 5, compound day at Barnsley AC

Taking place: Saturday 17th August 2019

World Record Status WA720 ranking round and Head-to-Head at 50 metres on an 80 cm face, for stage 5 of the Archery GB National Tour. Compounds only. To be held at Barnsley RUFC, Shaw Lane, Barnsley S70 6HZ.
Entry is online only via the Archery GB Members Portal. Log into the Portal, select Events, then select the appropriate event.

Bronte Archers 1st Yorkshire Inter Club Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 18th August 2019

YAA clubs are invited to compete for the title of Yorkshire Club 2019. Albion and Windsor rounds will be shot. The club with the highest average score will be awarded the title. Entry fee is 2 - half of this, plus the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Sue Ryder charity. To be held at Rawdon Meadows, Harrogate Road, Apperley Bridge, Bradford BD10 0NN.

National Flight Championships 2019

Taking place: Sunday 18th August 2019

World Record Status and UK Record Status flight shoot for the British titles. Four ends of six arrows. You can shoot in up to four bow categories. To be held at Leeds East Airport, Church Fenton, North Yorkshire, LS24 9SE.

York AS WRS Double WA1440

Taking place: Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2019

World Record Status Double WA 1440 round - AGB Metrics 1 to 5 also available. Scores from both days will count towards the awards. To be held at Hopgrove Playing Fields, Malton Road, York YO32 9TE.
The club asks that you use their online sign-up facility if possible since this will greatly streamline the administration of the shoot.

The Pomfret 60, hosted by The Wakefield Archers

Taking place: Saturday 31st August 2019

Tournament for longbow archers. The competition will commence at 10:00 AM and will consist of 10 dozen arrows plus wand splitting, a 3D bear hunt and speed shooting. The day will conclude with an Agincourt volley, followed by the presentation of awards. Mediaeval dress is encouraged - if you have it, please wear it.
We are pleased to announce that the shoot will once more be held in the iconic grounds of Pontefract Castle. The castle has undergone extensive renovations in the last three years in order to improve the visitor experience. We are working with Wakefield council to make this a special event.

Bowmen of Adel End of Season Open Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 1st September 2019

The Bowmen of Adel are pleased to announce the 1st September 2019 as the date for our End of Season Open Tournament. This is a Long Western round for adults (all bow styles), shorter Western-family rounds for juniors (and adults) by entry. Sighters at 11:00 AM so you can even have a lie in. There will also be food. The Ladies Recurve trophy and the Recurve Team trophy are still missing. Adel respectfully ask all previous winners of these trophies to check whether they have them.

NCAS Clout Weekend

Taking place: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019

Record Status and Tassel Award Status clouts over two days. On Saturday there will be double WA (AGB Metric) Clout for the NCAS Metric Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships. On Sunday there will be double AGB Clout for the NCAS Imperial Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships. To be hosted by York Archers Society at Hopgrove Playing Fields, Malton Road, York YO32 9TD.

Bowmen of Wharfedale Longbow Shoot

Taking place: Sunday 8th September 2019

Two-way Western for longbows, with no sights and no sighters. Open to BLBS and GNAS members. Includes a lunch of pie & peas (or a vegetarian option), fruit pie and hot drinks. To be hosted by The Bowmen of Adel at Adel War Memorial Sport And Social Club, Church Lane, Adel, Leeds LS16 8DE.

Chantry Bowmen 11th Firbeck Crecy Shoot

Taking place: Saturday 14th September 2019

An unusual shoot in honour of the Battle of Crecy in 1346. 3 dozen arrows at mounted knights at 160 yards, 3 dozen arrows shot at men-at-arms at 145 yards, and 3 dozen arrows at Genoese crossbowmen at 120 yards. Fish and chips lunch included. To be held at The Phoenix Sports & Social Club, Pavillion Lane, Bawtry Road, Brinsworth, Rotherham S60 5PA.

Abbeydale Archers Open Potato Shoot

Taking place: Sunday 15th September 2019

Western round, with a lunch of jacket potato accompanied by chilli, cheese or beans. To be held at DLSA Sports Ground, Beauchief Abbey Lane, Beauchief, Sheffield S8 7BA.

Barnsley Archery Club 32nd Albion and 30th Longbow

Taking place: Saturday 28th September 2019

Windsor round for longbow shooters, Albion and Windsor-family rounds for other bow styles. ALL longbow archers will shoot the Windsor round and compete for their own main awards. For the FUN awards, all disciplines will be included. To be held at Barnsley RUFC, Shaw Lane, Barnsley S70 6HZ.

Taking place: Sunday 29th September 2019

World Record Status WA720 ranking round and head-to-head. Recurve archers will shoot at 70 metres on a 122 cm face (longbow and barebow will compete in the recurve division). Compound archers will shoot at 50 metres on individual 80 cm 6-ring faces. All juniors will compete with adults. Entries to be made online. To be held at Barnsley RUFC, Shaw Lane, Barnsley S70 6HZ.

A two-way Great Western for longbow shooters - 5 dozen at 60 yards, 5 dozen at 50 yards. BLBS rules will apply. The tournament is open to longbow archers who are members of the BLBS or the GNAS. The Joyce Kiddy Memorial Field Shoot incorporating the YAA and Open Field Championships 2019

Taking place: Saturday 26th October and Sunday 27th October 2019

Arrowhead and Record Status Combined FITA Field round. Unmarked FITA 24 on Saturday, Marked FITA 24 on Sunday.
The Marked round on Sunday will decide the awards of the Yorkshire Archery Association Field Championships 2018.
To be hosted by Dearne Valley Archery Club at Savin Royd Woods, Haigh Lane, Haigh Village, near Woolley (M1, J38).
