YAA Clout Weekend 2019

Taking place: Saturday 20th April and Sunday 21st April 2019

Record Status and Tassel Award Status clout rounds.
On Saturday, a double WA Clout (double AGB Metric Clout) will be shot for the metric clout archery titles of the Yorkshire Archery Association.
On Sunday, a double one-way AGB Clout will be shot for the imperial clout archery titles of the Yorkshire Archery Association.
To be hosted by Archers of East Riding at Hutton Cranswick Sports Field, Rotsea Lane, Hutton Cranswick, Driffield, YO25 9QA.

Thirsk Bowmen Double WA720 Weekend 2019

Taking place: Saturday 27th April 2019 and Sunday 28th April 2019

World Record Status rounds. Double WA720 round on Saturday. Single WA720 round on Sunday followed by an Olympic round. WA rules and dress code. Limited caravan and camping available. Tea, coffee and refreshments available on site. To be held at Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire YO7 3PG.

The Saint George Longbow Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 28th April 2019

To all those skilled at shooting in the long bow - Greetings! Be it known that the Bowmen of Adel, as custodians of the Royal Armouries Arrow, do invite all true and honest bowmen, shooting in a traditional longbow, to compete for the award of this perpetual trophy in a contest celebrating St George's Day.
A lunch of steak pie and peas, or a vegetarian option, is included in the entry fee. Sherry and cake will be served as and when appropriate.

Burton Constable Company of Bowmen Medieval Longbow Fun Shoot 2019

Taking place: Sunday 9th June 2019

The Vikings have been spotted off the Holderness coast and my Lords are ordered by Royal warrant to call the retinue of archers to form the Danegeld to stop them landing. To be held at Burton Constable Hall, Skirlaugh, Hull HU11 4LN.

De Notton Bowers Hereford Longbow Competition

Taking place: Sunday 16th June 2019

A one-way Hereford round for longbows, shot to BLBS rules. Sherry will be served after three dozen arrows and a mobile fish & chips van will be on site. An Agincourt volley will be shot. To be held at Notton Village Cricket Field, 117-123 George Lane, Notton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire WF4 2NL.

Wharfe Valley Archers Midsummer Field Shoot

Taking place: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019

Wharfe Valley Archers are pleased to announce their first 2 day WA Field Shoot will be held on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd June 2019. The shoot has Record Status. A 24-target WA Mixed round will be shot on each day. This is only one of two WA field archery venues in Yorkshire and it has taken a lot of effort to get this far. Please come and support the shoot. The terrain is easy going, the woodland is beautiful and venue is great! To be held at Farnley Hall, near Otley, Leeds, LS21 2QF. PLease note that there are two Farnley Halls in the area - make sure you go to the right one!

The Grand Northern Archery Meeting

Taking place: Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2019

The GNAM 2019 will be hosted by Cheshire at New Century Bowmen near Macclesfield. A double York/Hereford/Bristol round will be shot. The shoot has Rose Award status and UK record status. There will also be a parallel competition for juniors.

York AS WRS Double WA1440

Taking place: Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2019

World Record Status Double WA 1440 round - AGB Metrics 1 to 5 also available. Scores from both days will count towards the awards. To be held at Hopgrove Playing Fields, Malton Road, York YO32 9TE.
The club asks that you use their online sign-up facility if possible since this will greatly streamline the administration of the shoot.

The Pomfret 60, hosted by The Wakefield Archers

Taking place: Sunday 31st August 2019

Tournament for longbow archers. The competition will commence at 10:00 AM and will consist of 10 dozen arrows plus wand splitting, a 3D bear hunt and speed shooting. The day will conclude with an Agincourt volley, followed by the presentation of awards. Mediaeval dress is encouraged - if you have it, please wear it.
We are pleased to announce that the shoot will once more be held in the iconic grounds of Pontefract Castle. The castle has undergone extensive renovations in the last three years in order to improve the visitor experience. We are working with Wakefield council to make this a special event.

NCAS Clout Weekend

Taking place: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019

Record Status and Tassel Award Status clouts over two days. On Saturday there will be double WA (AGB Metric) Clout for the NCAS Metric Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships. On Sunday there will be double AGB Clout for the NCAS Imperial Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships.
