De Notton Bowers Hereford Longbow Competition

Taking place: Sunday 16th June 2019

A one-way Hereford round for longbows, shot to BLBS rules. Sherry will be served after three dozen arrows and a mobile fish & chips van will be on site. An Agincourt volley will be shot. To be held at Notton Village Cricket Field, 117-123 George Lane, Notton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire WF4 2NL.

Wharfe Valley Archers Midsummer Field Shoot

Taking place: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019

Wharfe Valley Archers are pleased to announce their first 2 day WA Field Shoot will be held on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd June 2019. The shoot has Record Status. A 24-target WA Mixed round will be shot on each day. This is only one of two WA field archery venues in Yorkshire and it has taken a lot of effort to get this far. Please come and support the shoot. The terrain is easy going, the woodland is beautiful and venue is great! To be held at Farnley Hall, near Otley, Leeds, LS21 2QF. PLease note that there are two Farnley Halls in the area - make sure you go to the right one!

Taking place: Sunday 7th July 2019

The Grand Northern Archery Meeting

Taking place: Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2019

The GNAM 2019 will be hosted by Cheshire at New Century Bowmen near Macclesfield. A double York/Hereford/Bristol round will be shot. The shoot has Rose Award status and UK record status. There will also be a parallel competition for juniors.

Taking place: Saturday 3rd August 2019

Two-way York and Double National rounds for the county longbow championships. Two-way shooting under BLBS rules, three-arrow ends with no sighters and no bouncers. To be hosted by Archers of East Riding at Hutton Cranswick Sports Field, Rotsea Lane, Hutton Cranswick, Driffield, YO25 9QA.

Burton Constable Company of Bowmen 2019 East Riding of Yorkshire Archery Championship

Taking place: Sunday 4th August 2019

Bronte Archers 1st Yorkshire Inter Club Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 18th August 2019

YAA clubs are invited to compete for the title of Yorkshire Club 2019. Albion and Windsor rounds will be shot. The club with the highest average score will be awarded the title. Entry fee is 2 - half of this, plus the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Sue Ryder charity. To be held at Rawdon Meadows, Harrogate Road, Apperley Bridge, Bradford BD10 0NN.

York AS WRS Double WA1440

Taking place: Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2019

World Record Status Double WA 1440 round - AGB Metrics 1 to 5 also available. Scores from both days will count towards the awards. To be held at Hopgrove Playing Fields, Malton Road, York YO32 9TE.
The club asks that you use their online sign-up facility if possible since this will greatly streamline the administration of the shoot.

The Pomfret 60, hosted by The Wakefield Archers

Taking place: Sunday 31st August 2019

Tournament for longbow archers. The competition will commence at 10:00 AM and will consist of 10 dozen arrows plus wand splitting, a 3D bear hunt and speed shooting. The day will conclude with an Agincourt volley, followed by the presentation of awards. Mediaeval dress is encouraged - if you have it, please wear it.
We are pleased to announce that the shoot will once more be held in the iconic grounds of Pontefract Castle. The castle has undergone extensive renovations in the last three years in order to improve the visitor experience. We are working with Wakefield council to make this a special event.

Bowmen of Adel End of Season Open Tournament

Taking place: Sunday 1st September 2019

The Bowmen of Adel are pleased to announce the 1st September 2019 as the date for our End of Season Open Tournament. This is a Long Western round for adults (all bow styles), shorter Western-family rounds for juniors (and adults) by entry. Sighters at 11:00 AM so you can even have a lie in. There will also be food. NCAS Clout Weekend

Taking place: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019

Record Status and Tassel Award Status clouts over two days. On Saturday there will be double WA (AGB Metric) Clout for the NCAS Metric Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships. On Sunday there will be double AGB Clout for the NCAS Imperial Clout Championships and Inter County Team Championships. To be hosted by York Archers Society at Hopgrove Playing Fields, Malton Road, York YO32 9TD.

Chantry Bowmen 11th Firbeck Crecy Shoot

Taking place: Saturday 14th September 2019

An unusual shoot in honour of the Battle of Crecy in 1346. 3 dozen arrows at mounted knights at 160 yards, 3 dozen arrows shot at men-at-arms at 145 yards, and 3 dozen arrows at Genoese crossbowmen at 120 yards. Abbeydale Archers Open Potato Shoot

Taking place: Sunday 15th September 2019

Barnsley Archery Club WRS WA720 + Head-To-Head

Taking place: Sunday 29th September 2019

World Record Status WA720 ranking round and head-to-head. Recurve archers will shoot at 70 metres on a 122 cm face (longbow and barebow will compete in the recurve division). Compound archers will shoot at 50 metres on individual 80 cm 6-ring faces. All juniors will compete with adults. Entries to be made online. To be held at Barnsley RUFC, Shaw Lane, Barnsley S70 6HZ.

The Joyce Kiddy Memorial Field Shoot incorporating the YAA and Open Field Championships 2019

Taking place: Saturday 26th October and Sunday 27th October 2019

Arrowhead and Record Status Combined FITA Field round. Unmarked FITA 24 on Saturday, Marked FITA 24 on Sunday.
The Marked round on Sunday will decide the awards of the Yorkshire Archery Association Field Championships 2018.
To be hosted by Dearne Valley Archery Club at Savin Royd Woods, Haigh Lane, Haigh Village, near Woolley (M1, J38).
